COLLECTIVE
INTELLIGENCE:
-
Designates the cognitive abilities of a community as a result of multiple
interactions between members, or agents,
- This is
a constitutive phenomenon of life: the ability of a group of individuals
working together to anticipate / build their own future and achieve complex
context
- It is
also a "field of research and development [which] is interested in how
living individuals organize themselves to work, calling up companies and
operating as a unified whole whose properties clearly show that anything
emerging is much more than the sum of its parts
- Ability
to generate new knowledge through knowledge sharing in a variety, made by
people whose approaches are different.
- The
ability of a group of individuals working in the same company to understand
and organize data of the situation, to relate the techniques to be used with
the goal to choose or how to find original solutions to adaptation to the
requirements of the action, can be defined as the ability that these
individuals to collect, model and use a body of knowledge on which to base a
business to manage.
- The
ability of an organization to unite intelligence and knowledge to achieve a
goal.
- Set of
capacities of understanding, reflection, decision making and action of a

the environment for collective usage.
- Ability

integration into its environment (which are perceived by individuals and
groups) as a common intersection allowing him to lead its development of a
conscious way. The collective intelligence of an organization measures its
ability to acquire knowledge.
- Ability
to use to their full potential all the resources of the company to ensure the
production of quality goods and services to create and maintain the adequacy
and balance tasks - structures - resources results and between the strategic
and operational aspects of the business. It reflects the best in terms of
"adaptation and flexibility."
- One
speaks metaphorically of "intelligence" when a collective social
group can solve a problem in a case where a single agent would not.
- An
intelligence form distributed everywhere, constantly valued, and coordinated
in real time, leading to an effective mobilization of skills. Collective
intelligence is not a purely cognitive object (1996). Collective intelligence
refers to the collective intelligence performed at different levels of the
organization, if not the entire organization, it is therefore the sum of
individual intelligences. Collective intelligence is the intelligence of the
working groups (1997).
-
Strategic collective intelligence is the collective voluntary process by
which individuals come together to identify and acquire anticipatory
information (including weak signals) and to derive the useful direction for
the decision of non-recurring nature and for quick action at the right time.
-
Possibility of a group to process, to interpret, to encode, to manipulate,
and to access to information in a useful way and for a specific purpose, so
it can increase its adaptive potential in the environment in which it
operates.
- Optimal
mobilization of individual skills for synergy effects contributing to a
common goal. There is collective intelligence when we observe the collective
use within an organization, scattered information held by different individuals
at work and that this approach aims to generate a consensus collective action
through individual and collective processes.
- The
process that allows a group to understand all the dimensions of a problem in
time and space and lead to a decision making.
-
Collective intelligence concerns all collective processes to build a shared
reflection.
- Ability

doubts of many people, generates value (or a performance or an outcome) than
would be obtained by simply adding the contributions (knowledge, ideas,
etc..) of each individual.
- It is a
tool to develop responsibility, creativity, adaptability of an organization
and ensure the implementation of decisions by reducing the resistance to
change and creating a positive emulation.
-
Cultural Emergence, due to the organizational development of relationships of
communication between individuals.
- Set of
capacities in understanding, thinking, making decision and action on a human
scale of a collective work resulting from the interaction between its members
and implemented to deal with a given current situation and future.
- An
everywhere distributed intelligence, constantly valued, and coordinated in
real time resulting in effective mobilization of skills. [49]«It complements this definition by
the question it induces. "Humans can groups collectively be smarter,
wiser, more knowledgeable, more imaginative than the people who compose it?
